Issues uploading to site

Hi guys,

Got a bit of a weird one here that I need to get sorted asap. I have just built an ecommerce site for a client and he bought a module that allows the uploading and playback of both videos and audio.

The audio must be in the mp3 format to be accepted. Out of the box it didnt seem to work. I modified it to get it all working and like many things with the ecommerce package I used there were parts of the code that were clearly wrong.

The issue I am having now is that the client cannot upload mp3s, I can fine, no issues at all but both the client and the chap that put the work my way are having issues. What could cause this. It is being done through a shared backend of the site so I cant see why I can upload and they cant.

Are they getting any error messages?

Its saying that the file is not the correct type. Thats the original error that I was getting from the module out of the box. I modified it so that it actually worked. They are deffo uploading an mp3 and I got the guy to send me the file he was trying to upload and I had no issues with the file.

On the backend do they have the permissions to upload the file, I'm just thinking it maybe throwing an incorrect error message?

Thats the strange thing, we are all using the same login to the backend to eliminate a permissions problem on the account.

Hmmm, weird maybe setup an account for them, maybe it's conflicting because the same login is being used on 2 different IPs?

I'm really not sure tbh.

No worries mate, as a matter of fact I have just seen som mp3s that the other chap has uploaded. Gonna try and get to the bottom of the issue but it may be ok for now. Thanks for the replies, all the ideas were really appreciated.
