Hi all,
I have recently set up a wireless network setup for some friends using a belkin 54g wireless router (the turbo model with two ariels) and I have a hit a brick wall with MSN.
Now the internet works fine (Although their laptop is a tad intermitant with its connection which I think is more down it being a budget model than an issue with the network) however anything MSN related (messenger, hotmail, websites) does not work/load at all.
What is also puzzling me is all of the tests you can do through live messenger it passes and states *you can connect to live messenger*.
I have no idea why it won't work.
The settings the router has details no reason why it shouldn't work and the windows firewall is set to allow messenger / IE to work.
I am quite frankly stumped.
Is there any known issues with the belkin routers?! Anything I need to look out for?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
PS. My BT voyager router works fine on msn/messenger yet showed the exact same symtoms on their network so I know its not an issue with the computers.
Cheers
Owen
