Issues with Forza Horizon 3 and Gears of War 4 (Windows 10 store)

I have two problems, ironically both are Windows 10 store titles.

Firstly - I have Windows Insider Preview Build 14986 if that makes a difference...

Forza Horizon 3
Game works fine if I use my Acer Predator X34A as the primary monitor (which I normally do)

But Windows Store games do not let you swap between displays! So the only way to change the output is to change you primary display in Windows.

If I select my 4K UHD TV as the primary monitor before starting Forza 3 Horizon, I see the intro movies fine (Playground games / Turn 10) but then when it would normally get to the bit in the game that logs you in to the Xbox app, it exits to Windows with a error message generated from the game regarding the Display Driver.

Gears of War 4

Gears of War 4 won't start at all now (I previously played up to chapter 3). When I hit 'Play now' it shows the red Gears of war logo and then dumps me back to Windows with no error message. Doesn't matter what monitor I am using as Primary - this happens regardless.

Anyone else experience problems like this?

I suggest contacting Microsoft support and never buying anything from Windows Store and that uses UWP ever again.

I don't think I've ever contacted support in my life, I usually find that forum users have better solutions than tech support.

These games are cross-platform and require Windows Store to play, so I can't really get around it.

As far as I am aware insider builds do have issues with the store games, might be worth going back to the normal version and seeing.

Forza 3 is really bizarre. If I set the game to 4096x2160 then it works fine, either with V-sync or without and in Borderless or Fullscreen.

As soon as I select 3840x2160 (native resolution) it dumps me out to the desktop.

Anyone got a 4K TV connected via HDMI that they can test it on?
