Issues with Graphics Card when playing games

Hi guys,

Hopefully someone can help..! After about 15-20 minutes of playing games my computer completely crashes and goes to a red screen.

This only happens when playing games, I recently installed and uninstalled MSI AfterBurner but it was happening before that. I have also been running the Beta drivers, not the normal ones. But from what I can remember the issue only seems to have started when running Windows 8.1...

Again, any help would be much appreciated and I will provide more information if needed.

I had a problem with my GTX 580 for a long time. Certain games would crash. I tried a lot of things. I finally fixed it by upgrading the graphics card BIOS.
 
Firstly, try run normal drivers to see if that eliminates the problem. The ones your using are beta so it's worth while to rule that out.

If the normal driver works, try running earlier revisions of the beta drivers.

Thanks pal, this seems to working better now. Don't know why I didn't think of trying this..! I'll give it some proper testing tomorrow for a couple of hours and see how it goes.
