So I’ve just received my replacement Aorus Z490 Master from OCUK. I was using a MSI Pro as a cheap replacement while waiting and everything was working fine.

So fitted it, filled CPU loop and hit the power button, it cycled 6 or 7 times before it even started to give me post codes, eventually it did post and popped into bios, it’s get the F21 bios installed which is the latest. Hit save and then as it starts to load Windows it shuts down and then starts boot looping again. I put a flash drive with Win10 on in and tried to boot from that it exactly the same happens, tries to load windows and then shuts down. I’m at a loss. Every setting is on stock. I’ve tried clearing CMOS and tried both bios.

10900K
32gb G-Skill 3600
Corsair HX1000

Any ideas welcome.

MSI back in and booted straight up. The RMA board isn’t new, no plastic film covers on it and I noticed a crack on the plastic cover for IO. Don’t think they sent me my board back as I don’t remember it having a crack there.

Damm

Gonna rma it again?

Yeah I'll ring them on monday morning. Its a bit unlucky. I remember years ago I had a BFG GTX 780 that started artifacting, sent it back to BFG in UK and they sent me another that was even worse. I think I was about 2 months without a PC :( At least I managed to grab the MSI board for £99 on the jungle place so I can still game.
