Issues with xbox live?!

Hi all, is anyone else experiencing issues with xbox live?

I just thought I would start this thread as nothing seems to load for me on live at all. Also the console tells me who is online (and also when people join) but on all the screens it still states ' connect to xbox live' as if I wasn't online.

Its very frustrating.

For reference this happens both on my elite and also on my premium.

My net connection is fine as my ps3 and computer happily download things without an issue.

Anyone else experience this?
 
I think Lives been struggling on and off for a few days now, I know my mates been pulling his hair out and cursing a lot which usually means Lives down (addict!)
 
Yes

Yes I have experienced this a lot of the past couple of days as well. Seems to happen between 11 to late but is fine in the afternoon. They must be updating their servers.
