issues with z68xp-ud3

Board refuses to post into Windows or Windows Install via CD ROM. Asoon as windows is starting screen is about to finish the pc shutsdown.

Setup - i5 2500k
4gb G Skill Ram
SSD Crucial
750W Corsair Psu

Im using onboard graphics, i've tried another Cpu (celeron), different ram, normal Hard drive.
Fiddled with every setting in bios imaginable, but the PC will not boot into windows install.

any ideas?

Has the UEFI BIos
 
it is happening in the process of installing windows.... ie when Windows is Loading Files,,,and starts the windows logo, pc then shutsdown
 
Check the memory is getting the correct volts. Have you tried clearing the CMOS?

No bent pins in the socket? Socket look ok?
 
Not sure to be honest. How much paste was there in the socket? The pins are pretty delicate and are easily bent. Personally I probably wouldn't have even tried it if there was any actually in the socket on the pins. Looking at your pic one of the pins on the bottom row on the left hand side does seem to be out of alignment.
