WSB bikes are "supposedly" based on show room bikes ie Ducati 999, GSXR 1000, ZX10 etc etc.
MotoGP bikes are pure prototype bikes, the RCV211 is a 900cc V5 putting out around 250bhp.

Wow just about to post up something about this, all i can say is wsb is back!
The top 6 were covered by about 2seconds most of the race, then last lap Haga took out Kagayama and Toseland got the win, Bayliss looking hot still, maybe few more races and he will be chasing the wins on his own merit.
Got the second race on to record, if its anything like the first it will be a corker, on at 12.30 on eurosport 2 guys!

Yup, that's pretty much it give or take a few little tweaks here and there.

*Niping downstairs to watch the superstock racing now*
:D :D

I FEEL ALIVE AGAIN :D

Makes you want to nip out for a quick *blat*.

Might just do that, its nice and dry here just now.

It's either that or I give the lawns their first cut of the year.

I hope you mean Supersport, otherwise I'm missing out!!! :D

Good to see Nitro-Nori doing well.

The guy is a riding genius, but he seems to have always have had a problem with consistency.

No idea if or when you might catch the race from Qatar on this, but its worth a look maybe:-

http://www.worldsbk.tv/

Rumour I've heard over on www.apriliaforum.com is that they are going to allow this to be watched *free* from Round 3 at Valencia through to Round 6, as a wee enticement. Thereafter, probably starting to charge for the streaming footage.

Worth a look though.

Cracking second race! Bikes are back baby!

I thought they were both cracking races but I was gutted to see my man Kagayama taken out on the last lap of the first race. I reckon that Mr Bayliss may be a man to put money on at the bookies to win this season :D Whatever happens I reckon we are going to see some very very close racing
