I currently earn a decent wage but don't enjoy my job in the slightest.

Think I'd quite enjoy something in the IT field but am wondering about the validity of training etc

At the end of a course would I end up on 12k hoovering out peoples keyboards or are there ones worth doing?

Any advice/recommendations gratefully accepted :)

It seems experience and proof of hard work will override most qualifications. Obviously it might help, or may even get you a job. But having an IT degree seems less and less worthwhile these days. If your specialising certain courses may help you develop your skills.

That's the impression I had. Thing is I can't really afford to start on the bottom rung of the ladder due to various financial commitments :(

*heads off to look at plumbing courses*
