How much is your 'boss' being paid for this little exercise in time wasting?

Ah... no... right.... it's a project yeah? Part of the programme? The company policy? The re-organisation, re-architecting, re-branding, simplification, 'thinking corporate', strategy, modernisation................and confusion.

My advice: Stick with the 'IT department'. Work on that brand. Spend your time thinking how to do some work that'll actually improve your company's IT.

...just about everything in IT management is already being done. I suppose people have to make jobs for themselves...
