Greetings everyone!
I was part of the team years ago. I'm an American living in Germany (near Ramstein Air Base). I retired from the US Air Force [I was a Major and pilot] in 2005 and finally remembered to do some crunching. I was on the team when all we had was SETI. I remember the big move to BOINC and at the time it was new and I was in the process of moving from Texas to Germany with the military. I kind of forgot about SETI for a few years (shame on me).
I did get my 50,000 tiffy from the old SETI program but now I'm a bit lost with BOINC. It's all so different.
Anyway.. I have a few crunchers going so should rack up some decent units (not sure what you call them now) for the team.
I'm happy to see some old faces on the board. I can't remember my old username so I had to create this new one. Anyway.. glad to be back. It feels like coming home.
