It Finally Got Fixed!

Finally received my shiny newish Marantz CD6000KI and all I can say is WOW! would quite happily have paid the original 500 these things used to go for if it was this good.

Got it on ebay just after christmas. And just my luck the post office destroy the thing completely, the nice lady dropped the box in front of my eyes!. Luckily the seller has been really helpful and is currently claiming back the repair costs. But waiting to get ti back has been agony. But the wait was defninitely worth it.

Gonna sit back and relax with a few glasses of red and pink floyd now

Ahh Bliss, will post some new piccies in the gear thread in a few mins.

Anyone else had such problems with deliveries such as this?

Hmmmmm, sounds really, really annoying.

I've bought and sold plenty of stuff through eBay, and never have I had something damaged. Speakers, tuntables, amplifiers, tonearms, cd players, a dac and all sorts of other stuff. I guess though, it's only a matter of time before the same thing happens to me though!!

I have the CD6000 OSE LE, and that's a good player in its own right, but I've always wanted to hear a KI version to compare. Enjoy the Floyd (although imo it's sacrilege to listen to Floyd through any other media than LP )!

I heard a 6000KI the other night and I was impressed.
What did you pay mate?

I'm listening to Floyd now too - after finding my DSOTM cd after 4months of searching!!

210 and in perfect nick, and courtesy of parcelforce, a lot of the internals were replaced. So virtually brand new inside

Using it with a PM7200 and so far I think they compliment each other perfectly. All of the faults I thought my system had before have dissapeared in a wave of fantastic music!

Im actually finding im listening to songs instead of constantly flciking through them now.
