IT Job Agencies?

Anybody know any good IT Job agencies? i am needing a good one to get some offers of jobs my way in ICT Support, i am doing some MCP's now but it looks like my employers now wont give me a pay rise, and im only on £12.500!!
So if anyone knows of any good agencies i can join i would be gratefull.

You dont really join an IT Agency. You goto www.jobserve.co.uk and see whats about. All agencies are basically the same. If they like you, they'll call you and put you forward for the job after coming to an agreed rate. Then if the client wants to interview they will. They are generally all as good and as bad as each other. Theyll all back you if they like you CV and you get an interview, and theyll all drop you if you fail at the job!

My personal favourites are Sanderson Recruitment in Bristol, and Robert Mann in London. Abraxis are reasonable in your neck of the woods, as as Harvey Nash. But seriously, any of them will do.

Good luck. Spargonet are also another 'good' one I have dealt with. I've had 11 contracts in 10 years, and not had a bad agent yet. Mind you, I got out just before Aristotle went bust...the legend that was Greg Horne was my account manager! LOL
 
Talk to synergy, ask for colin burton, tel him Colin from leeds sent you. You will get something and on more than 12.5K too... depending on your skill set of course.
 
They have more than that open, not sure as i dont check their web site - think they are based in london but Colin is the one who deals with outside of london area, and he normaly has 10+ jobs when i ring him up.

Unless its quiet on the IT front atm?

i didnt mean that to sound as critical as it did, was more querying whether it was THAT synergy as there seem to be a couple
 
Aye thats the one, but if you ring him he will have more jobs on the go. When im out of work, he gets me a job within a day and if its no good, wait another day and another one comes along.

One of the best i have found so far. Pay on time too, now that helps! lol.
