It just gets better and better...

Jeez, how unlucky are we in Midfield, seriously. Now Solskjaer and Fortune, aswell as Pique who can play the DMC role.

That leaves us with... err, Rossi as our only backup.

Assumed that's what this thread would be about :(

Hopefully it's not too serious, as it's not been confirmed as a broken cheekbone yet.

Poor Ole - time is running out a bit for a meaningful first team recovery.

typical....just typical

what next...

Saha injuring himself lacing his boots up....it's only a matter of time you know ;) It's quite possibly the only scenario he hasn't been injured in. And I hear the treatment table really misses him.

This makes no difference to me. He's crocked, wouldn't be challenging for a place anyway.

Concerning Solskjaer, i would have liked him to at least make an appearance on the pitch at OT before the season was over. I seriously doubt whether he'll be there next season. It's just a waste of a wage bill!

Is this what Man U have come to, to get back Ole, the guy who won them the Champions League.

Retire, hes been out of the game far to long to even make an impact in todays game, he will have lost all of his pace or can Man U not pay his insurance for retiring early.

I'll have you know Solskjaer donated his entire salary to charity throughout his injury in the last 18 or so months. He's a real fan favourite and red through and through. A dying breed it seems at Old Trafford. Like every fan I'd love him to play a few games for us before he quits. No doubt that there will be a nice coaching job for him. :)

he is great, but out for so long, were you really expecting him to solve the MF woes? he's a striker. You should be crying this season, not because of injuries everone gets those, some seasons worse that others (we had a few last season and we did ok! :D Liverpool). It Alex Furguson going do-lally you should be worried about. He had the whole of January to bring a couple of midfielders in, and you were desperate, and he god 2 defenders!
OK rant over (queue the massive manc slating) ;)

Solskjaer, excellent player. Well respected at ManU and other clubs.
Shame that he's injured again.
But out for the remainer of the season with a fractured cheekbone? They dont usually take that long to heal. Sheva was back after 4 games for Milan afaik.

Oh well, it does increase the chance of Rossi getting more game time, which is a good thing. Hopefully he can come in for Rooney for a couple of matches as I think Wayne needs a rest.

Rossi should be in the team right now. He is far too good now to still be playing in the reserves.

I'd classify Evra as more of a left side midfielder than a defender. But Vidic is a proper defender. Just wait until he settles a bit more into the Premiership pace. ;)

feel sorry for solskjaer he seems like a decent enough guy , just not having the best of luck

i do like the fact it was a challenge by ugo playing in the boro reserves though, that "should" mean he wont be playing tomoro night :D
