Hi all, not sure if this is the right place, but.....

I am currently trying to re-write my CV and could really do with a bit of help.
I have been in this job for over 12 years and am way out of my depth.

If any one has a CV they could send me to give me some idea of the format it would be a great help, I was looking at these CV writing companies, but they are far too expensive for me at the current time.

Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks everyone.
That has given me the insight into the cv layout that I needed.
Now for the hard graft of actually writing one :(

Quite the opposite, that was exactly what I was trying to avoid.
I have been in my current position for 12 years and my CV format was looking tired.
I have decided the time has come to change direction.
Whilst in this job, I have seen many CV's for service engineers etc and it is a completely different kind of format.
Thanks to the 2 people above I now have several avenues to explore on the correct format for the positions I wish to apply for.
Though not old, I was taught to write CV's in a certain way, and unfortunately it looks old fashioned now.
Times change.
Thanks for the input though, it's good to get as much info as possible.
