IT Support Technician Diploma with CompTIA

On the Pitman-Training website they offer a course called "IT Support Technician Diploma with CompTIA".

Is this a proper qualification or just A+ training with a few extra subjects thrown in? If the latter, is it worth it or could you recommend any other online training courses for an IT support qualification.

For a generic support position the ability to form sentences and not be a huge aspie nerd is more important than any qualification.

The amount of interviews, and experience I have with 1st liners is shocking. Most haven't got a clue about IT
