IT Training Courses

Im not too sure which section to post this but I am interested in doing an IT training for beginners course on the networking and server side of it.

Does anyone here know any good reputable company that does, not just online learning but hands on training based in the North West or somewhere in London?

What type of qualifications do I need to obtain if I want to apply for a support line jobs?

for networking this is fundamental to get a good understanding of servers beyond the basics you can start with Comptia , cisco- CCENT, for servers you have many options, what operating system? windows, linux? need more details really but first lins support you can pick it up as you go because you will deal with issues with Microsoft word and printers to start with, then as you get better you will do servers ect, Id suggest buy some old kit to play with from dell or hp and then you can see how things like the hard drive indicators work and management interfaces..
