The thing is though some people on here think they are superior to everyone else, particularly relative newcomers or those not in the 'club' and this leads to hostility.

I feal some of you should treat people more even handedly and respect others opinions more.

It seems to be ok for some people to post meaningless threads, but those by others are classed as spam.

As far as i am aware this is an open forum and i was shocked to see that some of you who are in the 'club' were even proud of the fact that you never bought anything from overclockers.

:)

Maybe not a week, but you're right. If you don't care about a forum and you want to leave you just go quietly without anyone noticing.

Bit harsh for someone who has put a lot toward the reputation of OcUK forum :(

As in he's informative, funny and seemed like a genuine nice guy and willing to help. There used to be a family type atmosphere on theses boards, but that seems to have gone, replaced by some sort of dysfunctional "I can't even wipe my ass" without asking how to do it type of person.

You'd have thought that OcUK would try to keep people like Feek, instead it seems like anyone can join and post a load of crap.

I agree with Feek, I've not posted for ages for the same reason as him, but I doubt anyone has missed me :D

/Rant over sorry :(

I thought his original post was fair enough (in context), maybe bordered on rule breaking, maybe not. It was more the subject of his post & not the content that got it deleted. His sarcasm was aimed at people who complained about his opinion.
Here, here! If I don't like someone, I don't like them. May it hurt their feelings? Yes? Should I be allowed to voice my opinion? Certainly. But I don't run the place, so if the rules say I have to like everyone (or at least refrain from mentioning the contrapositive), then I guess I should learn to do so.

Think you missed Spie's point. He said if you don't care about a forum you quietly leave. Feek didn't "quietly leave" so it's obvious Spie is saying that Feek does care about the forum. :)

Something weird has been going on lately. Am sure its within the mod teams reasoning but am sure a few people are not about or the avatars have changed perhaps its me misreading things or something.

Plus I think Desmo got a sus, anyway its not my business but will miss the beer and gun thread ole boy feek :(

Edit - if the context of this post is out of place then by all means remove it, not intended to cause any kind of discontentment here.

I'm joining you. Who wants the keys?
some quality comments tonight.

this is what GD is all about. simple one liners that make me smile. as many have said, if you dont like the look of a thread, or if its crap dont reply the thread will soon disapear off the first page. and then magically it doesent exist anymore :D

Is a goodbye thread, made by someone who obviously cared about this forum, the place to air that dislike for them?

Why do some people think this is purely about the content of GD?

Again, I don't think this is what I originally posted. It went along the lines of:

Hell yeah! Everyone likes a bit-o-drama!

For those moments when you just want to be on your own - may I recommend the archive forums.

Because some people have no time to read the thread and just make assumptions...

If feek was reading this (which he isn't) then he'd actually have everything confirmed about GD that he posted about before (which isn't the reason he left).

I was going to reply properly to that, but I don't feel like getting suspended tonight. .

its quite clear he is baiting.... dont rise to it,

more people liked Feek than not... what i remember most about Feek is he was one of the more approachable don's, like yourself Davey (no disrespect to the others he just was)
