Italy Trip

Finally started processing some of the pictures I took on our recent trip to Italy, hopefully this will be the first of many which I'll add to this thread over the next couple of days.

Let me know what you think I was trying for something a little different with this composition, when the sun finally came out!

Earlier in the day the weather and the light had been pretty poor so I went for a black and white conversion of this shot of the Duomo and tower taken from a small window in the Baptistry.

Back in Florence I couldn't resist taking this shot of the famous Duomo inspired by someone on this very forum

These padlocks are everywhere in Venice so I couldn't resist a few shots, this one had the nicest backgroud.
