In winamp or itunes or other,
is there a way to either copy a play list to a mp3 player or copy the music files to a folder, which can then simply be uploaded to an mp3 player.

My music collection is

Music > artist > album > file

It's a pain in the rear finding and moving each file..

I'm using ml_iPod with Winamp. If you add the playlist to Winamp so that it shows up under the Playlist section you should be able to right click on the playlist and have several destinations to send it to. My iPod is one of them.

winamp playlist>select files>right click> send to> ipod

should work for other mp3 players to, check winamp.com/plugins if it doesn't

How'd you mean? Point Winamp at the directory holding all of your MP3s and it'll pick them up and them to the Media Library.

all the ratings and play lists from itunes.

Ah. The ratings and playlists are probably stored within iTunes somewhere. Have a look around and see if there are any export options. Haven't used iTunes in ages so I can't think of where you might want to look. Might as well try the Help files first. See what that says.

I know where itunes keeps the files. There in a xml format where winamp is something diffrent m3u? m3u8?

Is there any way to convert them

No idea about that sorry. Have you looked to see if there is an export playlist function in iTunes?

yep saves it as xml though, ahh well I'll have to get listening.

Hey thanks, not great, but does what I need. I can covert my top rated playlist to winamp

..

But I can't convert my libary with all the ratings

.. But Hey, I can continue to use Itunes and just Convert my top rated

Forget what I said, this is an awesome plugin, converts straight from Itunes saves ratings, playcounts and everything

This should be in some sort of sticky..
