itouch & btconnect mail

Ok I am trying to set this up and it is simply having non of it.
I think the issue may be with the incoming mail server

It's pop3.btconnect.com
Out going is
Mail.btconnect.com

Does anyone have any info regarding successful setups using bt connect accounts?

The BT smtp (outgoing) servers require authentication, have you enabled this?

just put setting in mine using btconnect and it works,,,,

used smtp.btconnect.com

use ssl is off

authentication = password

at the point outgoing mail server the SMTP click the smtp.btconnect.com

this take you to new page just check the primary server to on,,, other smtp servers to on these will be mail.btinternet.com for both

work for me if you give me email address ill email you a screen over using my iphone and btconnect settings

just delete it start again,,, put in all details like you would normally using smtp for outgoing like i said earlier

then go to the part i described above mine works perfectly on those setting send and recieve no probs including screen shots etc.

I think it works now.
I was having issues with two email usernames.
