itouch photo backup for mac OS X?

having a monumentally difficult time finding a program to copy photos off my itouch onto this mac running OS X Leopard, does anyone know of a program I can use?

Hmm, does iPhoto not work with iPod Touch as it does with iPhone?

When I plug in my iPhone and open iPhoto, it appears there as a device to copy photos from

I've just tried that and it doesn't appear in the devices.

My computer at home is a PC, this one is a MAC - could that be causing an issue? Perhaps the Ipod is formatted for the type of OS running when it's first set up without the user knowing ??

Can't believe what absurdly s*** software apple develop to go with their ipods

I needed to do the same recently with an image I'd screengrabbed from my iPod Touch and ended up emailing it to myself. Far from ideal.

how do you email photos from your itouch

Pretty straightforward.

Go into photos, tap the icon in the bottom left corner.

When you do that, the menu will pop up. Tap 'Email Photo'

Then just mail as usual. It's how I got those two pictures above from my Touch.

hmm that's really weird, I only get two options

Set as Wallpaper and Assign to Contact.

Are you using the new itouch software pack (the one you pay 5.99 for or something?)
