Evening all, just wanted to wish everyone a good Easter weekend, it's going to be sunny for a couple of days, anybody of somewhere nice or planned a barbecue.

I'm a miserable old sod so will enjoy wandering about in the sun and not much else.

Happy Easter break

Might get out on the motorbike on Saturday then Sunday going to some friends with the family for lunch and the afternoon. Maybe take the little guy out somewhere tomorrow but I'm pretty miserable as well so probably avoid the crowds and go to the local park..

Hope you end up doing something and enjoy it even if it's just taking in the closest star during the day.

Mrs and kids away till Saturday afternoon spending time with out laws

Got a few jobs to do

Peace and quiet is brilliant

Enjoy

I have a massive list of man jobs to do, Mrs is taking the kids out tomorrow so I'm going to stick some music on and crack on with DIY and power tool related misanthropy. :D

Planned for 3 solid days of DIY then family Monday.

Girlfriend now has a friend in crisis (marriage breaking down) so looks like she's staying put while I go to the new house alone. Yayyy...

I've been off since the 30th and back to work on 17th. So far all I've done is have an exam and go to the dentist.

I take this is a goady AIBU-style thread @Slam62

Was told by my eye specialist last week (Tue 28th March) that I can no longer ride roller coasters. There goes my main hobby for the rest of my life. I'm not totally bitter, not I'm totally not.

Find our lasses chocolate stash and eat it all like the good Easter bunny I am.

That and going down to clavering for the weekend... hopefully sneak in a Duxford visit.

Off too Hoo Zoo dino world shortly with son - its gonna be rammed but he loves dinos & animals so can sacrifice my sanity for a few hours. Had never heard of it before yesterday but TA has it rated 2nd in UK after chester zoo for animal attractions.

Off for a round of golf shortly, then probably out to a National Trust with missus and Kids tomorrow.

Might get a spot of DIY in as well, and the cars sorely need a wash as well.

As said in the holiday thread, we are off to Quito in Ecuador tomorrow morning for two nights, then off to the Galpogos islands to spend 12 days hiking to see all the flora and fauna as well as hiking up the Sierra Negra volcano

Duxford is always worth a visit, and with the weather there's a good chance there'll be some nice stuff flying.

If you do get to Duxford, look out for the AEW Fairey Gannet, my dad flew that actual one when he was in the Fleet Air Arm.
