I've resurrected my old Athlon XP 2500 systems!
all those above me GET READY TO RUMBLE!

just godda get some wireless cards for them now!
 
I have my system in my sig :D, a P4 2.8Ghz and will have a AMD opty 144 running soon just need to buy a mobo and hard drive :D. I will start making my way up the ladder :D.

this is in addition to the existing farm(yard)
2x C2D 6300 DS3/4 @ 3.2GHz
1x Athlon XP 3200
1x P3m laptop 1.2GHz or so

not to mention the borgs etc
 
Good work mate. Now clock them. I had a play with my old 2500, got it to about 220fsb before the board gave up. A cool 2.4 GHz :cool:

not got good enough coolers/boards/PSUs to clock them all
I think I'll just go for the 2500-3200 switch as I know they can all do that
 
hehe well their all setup with the wireless network so this looks like its all go!
also I've found some OTHER bits that may let me build ANOTHER Athlon XP system (maybe)

Set it to receive WUs >5MB in the config. That looks like it's trying to get Tinkers and there probably aren't any.
 
only 128mb ram :(
its my baby laptop, P3 1ghz, 128mb ram etc etc
can't take the bigger WUs as they take about a year to finish!!
 
Isn't server 133 one of the deadlineless ones? If so you won't get any work that way.

edit: yep I'm pretty sure that's deadlineless ones only so you'll have to change the config so it doesn't ask for those. The standard Gromacs work should complete fine as it has quite long deadlines :)
