I just put together a new pc. Am having lots of problems...but working through them.
My monitor is very 'red'. It's as if green and blue do not exist. I've tried altering the colours using ATI Catalyst, but no joy.
Card is a Sapphire 4850 (if it is a card problem...).
Open to any suggestions...
Cheers.

Is it connected via VGA? sounds like what my old broken monitor cable used to do, either wiggle the cable around and if that doesn't work it might be worth getting a new one,

Not sure if DVI would suffer the same problem, so it could be something else...

ATI are red, Nvidia make your screen go green :D

But seriously

Lead is usually first suspect or port.

Try another lead
Try the other connector in the card
Try another monitor

Or if you have your old card, try that again. If fault still there then it's your lead or screen

If fault gone then it's your card.

Try another computer would eliminate the lead or the screen.
