My PC isnt the newest, it's only an old A64 @ 2Ghz and 1GB Ram but I've noticed it's been very sluggish in Vista, I've put it down to lack of ram and that Vista has been installed for ages. I've given up tweaking this PC ages and ages ago but loaded up CPUz last night and for some reason my ram was running at 100Mhz!!
So I checked the BIOS, it was set to auto, I set it to 1:1 and it didnt boot.... Had to reset the BIOS and everything, left it to auto again and now it it's running at 200Mhz and it's amazing just how much quicker Vista is. It's improved it no end.
