So it's been a fair while since I was frequently posting at OCUK, but after numerous conversations with the awesome Gibbo (and bribes, of course) I'll be around a fair bit more.
So despite the fact I've been lurking for the last couple of years (Strangely, in the Motors and Sports sections more than anywhere else...) I'll be dropping by to offer input where I can to the more techy areas.
Some of you may remembers from my previous postings when I worked for ASUS - Sadly I won't be able to answer questions on that topic, having left 2 years ago or so!
I will, however, be able to offer some input around AMD, so I'll start with a brief intro of what I do. So right now, I look after the marketing for all AMD products across Northern Europe (So that's the UK, Netherlands, Nordics!) and have the pleasure of working with the various resellers in those regions (Which includes OCUK!)
That means working with Valkia to encourage him to put up AMD artwork, running promotions like the Never Settle campaign, forum competitions (like this one - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18440589) and those kind of things.
I also wear another hat, in that I manage the "Radeon" marketing for EMEA.
Unfortunately, I'm not too savvy when it comes to offering technical support so I won't be able to assist with those types of questions. Sorry!
Aside from work I'm a bit of a gym-rat and currently addicted to Black Ops II. As a bit of humour you can see a shot of my desk below!
Well that's enough of an essay I'm sure - I'll be swinging by in my spare time, but if there's anything urgent that I might miss please pop me a message in Trust.
