Its been a while...

I registered in 2013 when ordering an upgrade... not sure I ever posted.

Anyway - I'm working on converting that upgrade into a HTPC, so its a good excuse to start posting on here...

I'm father of 1, with kid #2 due in January (HALP!!!1).

I used to make games for a living, but that made family life impossible. I now do that for a hobby, and I make software/websites for money now.

All fun.

What sort of games do you make in your spare time?

Mobile, mainly - because development turnaround is fast. People have much higher expectations for desktop platforms, and its difficult to show friends/family progress in comparison.

Primarily use Unity, develop in JS (though I dabble in C#). I also develop various tools for plugins for Unity, Max and Maya (have an artistic background).

Its more just for my own personal learning, to stay on top of current trends and software incase I ever choose to go back into full time games development (which I'd love to, its just life-consuming and low-paid).
