As we say in lancashire..

The heatwave hit yesterday and it never went below 80 deg last night. Todays supposed to be over the 100 mark, but combined with the stupid humidity its gonna feel like 120 :(

I know we have a guy on here who lives in new york and the temperature is supposed to be even worse there.

My pasty english body can't take much more of this :(

I was reading about the US heatwave this morning - sounds bad. Would not like to be working out doors.

Been pretty sunny in Reading this morning, clouds slowly creeping their way over, look like they are bright though so hopefully no rain or very little today.

Rode home in the downpour on my Ducati yesterday, surface water + Supercorsa BSB's w/ no tread + opening the throttle = fun :D

Was 40c here yesterday morning at 8am.

My bedroom was around that as it didn't really cool off at all overnight.

I don't have aircon.

I'm now sporting a bloodshot eye from the complete lack of sleep (about 4 days now) and having a fan blowing at me to attempt to stay cool. :(

Thankfully, I return to the UK on Wednesday.

I'll also be back to wearing jeans as well lol

It was 31C outside at 11PM last night.

It's currently 37C/98F, which according to their fancy measurements "feels" like 44C/111F with the humidity, still a few hours until it peaks for the day.

I'm actually tempted to try and cook an egg on the pavement later :D
