Finally, after years of use, my favourite ever card has died. My Ti4200 first started out in my mates dads PC, then i bought it for £80 and after a year with me my dad got it. Its finally given up the goat in my dads machine.

RIP Ti4200, my favourite card. For bang to buck it wiped the floor on my 6800.

Thats the one i had.

my uncles SFF pc i built him a few months ago has that card :D ... recycled everything bar the mobo and case (as he wanted, he doesnt even game :p) and put it in an aria :) still going strong

not the quietest or most efficient fan design ever tho :p

Heheh, good cards. My brothers getting a 9800XT 256MB probs for about £25 so I'm hoping if nothing goes wrong, that'll be decent Bang for Buck too :)

I had a Ti4600 for about a week, then it broke, wasnt my favourite card cause of this.
same here lol

was replaced with a 9700pro which died after a few weeks too :(

have a ti4200 in spare PC atm

My longest lasting card is my 32mb Creative TNT2 Ultra, it's 7 years old now and cost about £250 IIRC, was running for 5 years or so and now spent last 2 in a box lol

Oddly i replaced mine with a 9700 pro, but mine was rock solid, still in working order. I loved that card.
