ive not bought it yet but my finger hovers on the "buy now" button. has anyone found or know of any decent reviews on the JVC KD-AVX2? I ask because X1 had a few niggling issues such as no screensaver or not being able to view user images/customised interfaces...

L0rdMike, is the faceplate not the same size as the DIN height? (looks overside in this photo). I thought it was more flush fitting than that but it looks as though it sticks out... is it missing a surround fascia?

also, whats that thing just below it that says "push"

The head unit is pretty big and does over hang a small bit, I had to take the surround thing off as it wouldnt fit with it on.

had a look at the demo unit in halfords yesterday... i didnt realise the faceplate was going to be so reflective shiney. its not going to fit in with the rest of the dash. bummer

has anyone else made the commitment and bought it?

the oversized headunit is a big off putter - i really like the unit but what if it now does not fit, darn thing!
