Erm, my reservoir has started leaking. My watercooling has been in for a few months now or something, but it has decided to start leaking. Is there anything I can do to waterproof it without taking it all apart? Can I just smear it with vaseline or something? :P

It looks like it's leaking from the barbs. It's a very slow leak, and I can't be arsed draining the system and replacing things right now. It's summer and I should be outside. Does silicone sealant get hard and 'dry' up?

I'm not trying to say "air > water" - but leakages is one reason I refuse to go to water cooling.

The price is another. ;)

A well set up water cooling doesn't leak ;) . Water is superior over air, admit it! :D

Having been working in a kitchen for 6 months, my new best friend is water.

A hot tray takes 5 minutes to cool down in room temperature air but in 45c water it cools down in 5 seconds.

when you fitted the pipes did you use a layer of PTFE tape on each pipe at the connection before securing the connections? if not, go buy some and use it :) i promise youl never leak again.

cost me £30 lol :D

Yes I did. And I used a rubber o-ring. And sometimes it leaks tiny drops, but most of the time it's dry.
