It's LucasArts week on Steam!

Yay :)
I was actually eyeing up The Force Unleashed this weekend! However, after a bit of research, apparently it's really really buggy and horrible :(

Now I'm not sure whether or not I want to throw them a fiver for the trouble...

I quite like the idea of the complete pack for £35. Same price as a new game practically but you get 13 instead. :D

The problem is all those games are old.

All the good ones were made good because of the multi player (except KotOR of course), but now i suspect there dead.

I'd disagree. I love Jedi Outcast, Republic Commando single players. My computer at the time couldn't run Empire at War so I'm quite interested in giving that a fling on a more modern setup.

I purchased Empire at War in the summer sale, it is still a great game.

If Battlefront II comes up in the sale, I am purchasing it :)

No big deal these days :p

Was slightly interested until I saw the 30gb HD requirement. Thats HALF my SSD!! O f which only 19.2 GB is free anyway :(

Anyone know what the daily deals will be? I know during Quakecon week all those were known by the first day.

Just want to see if theres anything else worth getting as Ive already got the Jedi Knight pack from Christmas (without Kotor though :()

Looking at the pack I would only be tempted by this and Kotor - dno what else is actually that good...

ps3ud0

I got it on the last sale. Well worth the money. No idea why people go on about bugs. Never had any issues with it. It's capped at 30 frames from what I recall, but it played fine for me. Using the jedi/sith powers in this game is worth a fiver alone. Lot's of fun.

Its alright with the last patch but to me, and i really wanted to like the game too, just felt so boring playing some unknown sith and even tho its pretty as hell and the physics are awesome in it, it just feels so like their is no depth. It is basically run about in massive levels and thats it. If their was a lot more interactive cutscenes where u can pick responses and have a slight and i mean slight rpg system for weapons and skills well ok it has skills but so badly implemented and difficult to use cos of the interface etc.

I duno why they keep making games outside of the episode 4 5 and 6 and trying other stuff. It just makes me mad and depressed. Now if the game was actually a retelling of the story of the film but in game form with u being luke and enemy was darth or the emperor and used this game then it would be instant smash hit for me as long as they had some space battle sequences and the death star with proper voice overs from original cast. Tho they would need to sort their consolitis interface out.

Bring back the Jedi Knight series I say :p

I still return to Jedi Academy every so often - the multiplayer base is still there! :D
