Excellent, I make that 2 world wars, 1 world cup and 1 distrubuted computing project.
 
I never knew there was an OCUK Seti whatever it is.
That league table confirms why so many on here believe in the paranormal, UFO's, ghosts, God etc.

Not quite.

When I crunched for the team (just before BOINC was released, so only 4 WUs) I didnt do it for any other reason than to win. I am pretty sure a lot of people got into competing and forgot about waht it was actually about. No chasing aliens here.

Average CPU time per work unit:

OCUK: 5 hr 19 min 42.4 sec
Germany: 8 hr 09 min 25.6 sec

And we did 6245 hours less work than germany and still won by over 1.7 million work units :eek: :D

Makes my 410 units look quite insignificant. Still its all good :)
 
Hurrah... excellent news!

Despite not contributing recently (last submission July 2004!! :eek: ) I finished in 650th spot and I would like to congratulate everyone involving in doing such an awesome job!

Great news, i think i'm still folding but haven't done SETI for ages. Still, i did my bit so forgive me for joining in with the celebrations and general smugness :D
