Its a brilliant mod, when it first came out, i played it all the time. Im dl the latest update and im hoping the magic is still there

Never really knew what to make of this mod, on one hand I was like this is awesome (for a mod) a lot of time had been spent on it and it shows... but on the other I was getting one shot kills from one end of the map to the other with my rail gun pistol and thinking lame.

This still just camp with railguns or have they added gameplay into it?

Well just spent an hour on it, and kept being killed by people camping in corners with a pistol.

It's a real shame it was dwarfed by cod4

Brilliant mod but just needs a massive and reliable dev house behind it and make it standalone.

Dont like it much, its allright but you just get enemies sitting 10 feet from your spawn killing you. At least in cs you get 30 seconds of running to the conflict, this isnt supposed to be deathmatch but thats how it plays for me and I never liked deathmatch that much. It needs more of a front line.
I'd rate tf2 over this for tactics tbh which is silly and cant be right

Feels too crampt always, I shall play it some more and probably give up after a week till the next version. Its not massively playable, looks good though

Never did like insmod. Held great hopes for it from the screenshots before it was released but i stopped playing after really trying hard to like it for a couple of days.

Very disappointing.

If you like slow-paced shooters then insurgency is a good game. If the thought of someone holding a position longer than 5 seconds makes you sick then don't download this game.

There definitely is a front-line in insurgency. You probably died an awful lot if you didn't see that therefore found it frustrating.

I wouldn't say it's a simulator either, it just gets a little closer to realism than CS and CoD.

Have been having a little dabble on this game recently, just wondering if anyone else here bothers? I am beginning to really enjoy it tbh although like most games i doubt i'll ever be any good at it.

Will be downloading this when I get home. Used to play quite a lot of Insurgency. Stopped playing when I started playing TF2 more often.
