I seem to request this roughly every 6-7 years!

Son is after a new PC, Just PC he has monitors, mouse Keyboard

Primarily he is like most other teenage kids Gaming and streaming etc. Mostly fortnight.

I'm really open to suggestions as it's so long since I was in this position.

whats the monitor ? as £1k gets you a decent high spec system, but 1080p 60hz monitor kills £300 odd GPU that goes with £1k budget so price of the Tower can be lowered to match then screen etc

Thanks for that but would also need a case

that version is 60hz, not 75hz like VS248H or 75hz & freeysnc like VS248GQ

2070 super and RX 5700 would be overkill! unless upscaling to 1440p and then still will it over the 60hz

gtx 1660 Super £200-240 odd and saves cash . also above Super Palit is only 2 yr warranty vs standard 3-5 of other vendors =/

16gb of ram is now the norm, next gen consoles should be packing that as well

saving a lot of cash
