It's The Principle....."Epic Win"

Gregg's food has been getting worse recently? Good grief.

I gave it a go when a new one opened on my way to work, a couple of years ago. I got a lukewarm slop pasty.

I tried again a couple of weeks later, thinking that maybe the previous time was just a one-off. I got a lukewarm slop pasty.

I tried again a few months later, having pretty much forgotten why I didn't get anything from Gregg's. I got a lukewarm slop pasty.

And now it's worse?

This is like someone complaining how a BigMac is presented in the Box after seeing it in the picture.

It's really not. The OP didn't have any sausage in his food. That's akin to complaining that the Big Mac doesn't have any beef in it which is a fair complaint.

You can actually complain about that though.

It was on a show, maybe The Real Hustle? I can't remember.
But they basically sent a guy into restaurants and such to demand how it should be and also then to see how far he could push it.

In the case of McDonalds, he pointed out the burger looked nothing like in the picture and that the fries weren't fresh. So he was made a burger which had enough time put in it to look good, along with freshly cooked fries.

Hmm perhaps...though maybe its just I wouldn't be surprised when you buy the cheapest food in the high-street.

Really? lol, can't say I am going to try that but interesting.

The only thing that used to put me off going to Greggs was the people who used to shop there. They resembled the food with their puffy pale faces and their ... gristle ... and ... fat.

All Greggs shops do is bake frozen food instore - there's nothing the manager herself could do to increase fillings without speaking to head office.

IMO she just wanted to end the drama.

I call BS but if its true what a stupid thing to do.

Way too much time on your hands.
