My mother rang me to say her computer - a NUC running Windows 10 - wasn't working. Neither her PIN nor her password worked.

So I visited (a short walk). She uses a wireless keyboard and it was immediately obvious that the batteries in the keyboard needed replacing. After the batteries were replaced, everything worked fine.

It's the simple things.

"My emails have all disapeared! I think I've been hacked!!!"

He had clicked the little ▼ to minimize his inbox tree.
You don't know my Dad do you? :D

This is a monthly call for me - along with disappearing toolbars in Word and my all time favourite - "My homepage has changed - and i've not touched a thing!"

And then the dreaded one - "I have this friend whose got a simple PC problem and i've given them your number..." :/

"Someone's turned my monitor around!"
Yep the desktop is upside down.
Intel shortcut of ctrl alt, up arrow flips it back.

"How did you do that!"

Cue ten minutes of the user randomly flicking there screen upside down every few seconds.
