Signed up for a month trial because I wanted a deal on prime day. So thought I'd check out prime video.

Can't find a thing I want to watch.

Any good films/tv series that are decent?
Sci-fi fantasy only.

Rings of power.. Seems a 50/50 split between 1 and 5 stars! Is it any good?

I'm not one for worrying about shows obeying lore etc. I can enjoy things in isolation fine

Tried this on my last trial. Was too complex for me. Couldn't follow it

Yeah. It's like you need to wait until something is fully out to commit.

I'll give rings of power a go.
When votes a split 5 and 1 it's usually something that wouldn't bother me that causes the 1s. Like "following the books" or something
 
For me it's just too complicated. Dark is the other one. I want to like it. But I just get lost in the information overload

Tried Picard. Didn't like it. Maybe it's because Patrick Stewart felt so old? Or story was a bit "meh" but didn't get far.
 
Something like this would have to be really bad for me not to like it.

Its not like a as good as the good GoT or arcane. But definitely an 8/10 for me. Better than witcher as I can actually follow it.

Really enjoyed rings of power. Probably got time for another series. Will be re trawling this thread for candidates!

Edit. Peripheral. Looks interesting. Good reviews. Will try that.

Not really super keen on peripheral. I mean it's not too bad. But the time travel stuff is. So full. Of loop holes it's hard to over look.

Its not that it's bad. It's just hard to look past it

Not sure I'll get to start and finish another show before trial ends
