Hello OcUKers

After spending yesterday melting in the office, and deciding that shorts and a vest are suitable work attire this morning, I have decided to turn my misery into an advantage for you guys.

If you are looking to purchase any Fan or Heatsink product from Overclockers UK, then today [and tomorrow] is your lucky day.

From now until Friday night, we are running a 10% discount code for qualifying products for customers using the code - COOLDOWN10 at checkout.

This is a great opportunity to upgrade to a nice AIO cooler or buy a bunch of fans to cool down your system.

This discount also includes the Raijintek Triton cooler which has been flying off the shelves in our warehouse!

Go Wild!

Tempted to change all my case fans for those black/brown noctuas. I've got a mix of about 3/4 different fans from old cases and builds. Plus my XL R2 front fans are quite noisy.

Another thing, are the black and brown Noctua fans threaded in the screw holes? I had the corsair AF/SP ones before and getting a screw to make it marks was near impossible so I gave up..

now is the best time.

no fans come pre threaded in the screw holes that I am aware of, most fans come with self tappers to install or noise dampening grommets and self tappers in the case of noctua.

Take a look at the ocuk tech labs cooler. It's cheap as chips anyway and is essentially that the NZXT Kraken is based on. The fans that come with it are the ocuk watercooling fans which are good for the money but you can easily not install them

I'd been looking at the ocuk techlabs cooler just recently - how does this compare to the Raijintek?

its about on par with the kraken, perhaps a bit better due to our fans being superior.

8pack uses the 360 version on a test bed of his and says it is easily the best cooler he has used that isnt custom water/sub zero.

cant get much higher praise than that.

free delivery for forum members doesnt work with discount codes. we cant offer both guys.

just use whatever works out to be cheaper for you.

yeah its a rubbish deal for forum members...

who get free shipping on every order they place anyway

Doesn't sound too bad at all :)

There seems to be quite a lot of options on the tech labs kit - which would suit an ivy i5, only clocked to 4G? Would the 240 be overkill?

it would be perfect for that application really.

When industrial noctua fans 2000rpm will be back in stock? Do you guys have any info?

very soon, have been on backlog order for ages now. next 10 days i reckon

Was about to order, but you don't get free shipping when using this 10% discount code? Option for free shipping seems to disappear when I enter the code.

yep, you dont get both im afraid.

Oh well I guess we are all just ungrateful little whiners then, do you mind putting a clear note alongside the offer in the OP pointing out the free delivery option is unavailable with this discount, rather than just giving a snide response?

People are going to keep posting the same question over and over otherwise....

the only whining I have seen is in your first post.

you're making out that forum members are hard done to, when they receive free delivery on every order if they qualify.

There are a vast number of members who DONT qualify for free delivery and even more who aren't members but browse the forums anyway.

Doesn't make his point any less valid and really your attitude towards your customers could be better. Definitely not from the 5UB school of customer service. What is that slogan again, 'customer is king'. :(

Yeah, customer is king. Which is why regular customers get free shipping.

Regular customers should also know that you can't stack discounts on ocuk.

Having to explain something when it has been answered in every other post in this thread is tedious. Getting called snide when you call someone out for being ungrateful. Well, you can call it bad customer service all you like, I'll just keep doing discounts and giveaways that benefit all customers and not just ones who qualify for free shipping. like the monster I am.

Rajintek Triton? Isn't that the one that had loads of complaints not that long ago about leaking and stuff. Or am I mixing it up with another one?

as mentioned, it has been revised.

every unit we have in stock is the latest version too :)

Is the Rajintek worth waiting for over the tech labs?

in honesty, just grab a triton now if you really want one. dont wait for the core as my buy price [and as a result the website price] has gone up on that one.

the difference between the triton and the tech labs cooler isnt huge. depends what look and level of performance you want really.
