its too cold

Had the heating on at home occasionally to keep the chill off but it's not been on a lot, still fairly warm inside. I did wear my wooly hat at work today though, being in a workshop it gets cold, and if I end up doing a job that's not so physically active, I get cold real quick.

Lovely and warm inside with the central heating on, but outside is another matter. I'm already at the point where if I don't need to leave the house I won't. Especially if it's raining. I'd have been loving my evening walks during summer too. :(

Another 6 months of this.....

Fantastic :), i can now go for lovely evening walks without loads of people around, definately less chavs/kids around in the evenings now, its just a much quieter time of year, roll on next 6 months, Summer is way overrated.

Should have bought/ rented a proper place. :p
Got through last winter with heating on about 6 times, most of the time wearing t-shirt as well.

Not a people person then? Surely a uninhabited island near the arctic should be on your Christmas wishlist. :p;)

I love the cold weather... In fact the only bit I don't like is having to de-ice windscreens, and be wary of ice on the road!

Bring on the thick jumpers, camp fires, hot chocolate, and the beautiful contrast in temperature between outside an in... Feeling the bitter chill on your face when you step out of the door, and the warmth in your chest when you step in again. :)

I love it. But less so when it is raining too. :p

Call me whimsical but I just like it when it cold enough to feel a satisfying crunch of leaves under my feet whilst walking the dog in the woods for some 'me' time.

Still a few degrees off that yet.

Still wearing shorts and t shirt, I'm roasting hot all the time. Must have been the only man in Euston station the other day wearing chino shorts and a shirt haha

Our way of life is under threat

THE LADYBIRDS ARE COMING LOCK YOUR WINDOWS NOW! (there's also a mild chill in the air)

I sometimes do it because I'm so fed up of being warm, with everyone constantly sticking the heating on.

If I'm just going round the supermarket, i.e. my only walk outside is between the car and the house / shop, then I quite enjoy it for a couple of minutes.

If I particularly wanted to prove how masculine I am, my first port of call wouldn't be standing outside in a t-shirt.

Exactly. Sometimes it's either just not worth spending a few minutes putting clothes on for a quick jaunt, and others it's just not cold enough. I'd rather be a bit chilly for a few minutes than sweating buckets for 20 because I'm wearing too many clothes.

Major cases in point are when going to the shops (quite happily be in a light fleece when it's -10 and sunny for example) and the walk is only a few minutes from car to furnace like shops and when doing sports. It saves having to carry stuff as well.

Its freezing in my house, are you guys feeling it?

So depressing.

Where are you living, Iceland or something?!

No, its not too cold. A bit chilly is about it.

Southern wussies.

1. We had frosts and had to de-ice my windscreen in a morning over a month ago.
2 You not got heating in your house?

Wait, you get frosts? I've almost forgotten what they look like. They're cold with icy stuff like out of the fridge, right?!

The traffic has sure gotten quieter thats for sure its halved. Bloody tourists!

I've given in and had the heating on for a little over an hour - didn't take long at all to warm the house up to a comfortable temperature.
