its too cold

I love this time of year :) So much easier to keep warm than it is to keep cool in summer. No waking up every 15 minutes sweating, no being blinded by the sun at 4am whilst trying to sleep, no fleas on my cats, no hay fever ruining my day for months on end, no having to mow my garden two-three times per week or breaking my back with weeding, no being blinded whilst driving, no flys, wasps and other annoying insects, no train journeys on the way to work where the carriage stinks of B.O... I could go on and on.

The only thing I miss about summer is a cold beer tastes better, BBQ's and the ladies wearing less ;)

It was a bit chilly this evening. We both manned (and womaned) up, and the heating stayed off.

You have to be able to see your breath before the heating goes on in this house :p Will probably wait until late November before it starts going on.

As a bonus, little Bella finds my lap irresistible currently ;) She's like a little hot water bottle that I never need to refill :p

What is little Bella?

I love the cold weather my dogs do to. They much prefer it actually i hate to see them over heating.

sigh, sink drain is blocked, had to turn the boiler off as it's linked in the system. hot water, bleach and mr muscle used but does'nt look like it's budging. cold night brrrr. :(

I honestly don't understand how people can moan about something that happens every year.

If you lived in the the Bahamas and it got cold, moan then. Not in the UK (where I am making assumptions, you are living)

I quite happy to admit I'm a bit miserly when it comes to heating my house. I'd rather be spending the money on faster broadband and PC related stuff anyway!

So here is my solution for those that are a bit more sensitive to the colder months.

It is not a onesie they are not allowed in my house!

cold....na

I walked out the door at 6:30am to go to work in a t-shirt and trousers, that's how I've been all day. It's really warm out, I hate it. Come on proper winter.

I have to agree, it's not even jumper weather yet. I'm walking around the house in a T-shirt with the windows open during the day.

Still cycle in shorts & t-shirt around 11pm and 8am in Aberdeen can't say I have noticed it myself. Everyone moaning it's getting colder and I must be mad.

Anyone know of a cheap weather station or thermometer you can stick outside and use on a android phone ?
