It's too hot :(

Windows fully open here room still stayed locked on 26c , good old bricks starting to retain the heat again

I hardly ever see bees , butterflies anymore, just freaking flies :(
What are you planting to attract them? I see a lot more bees on my more native flowers, or even flowers some call weeds. One good thing you can do is grow a patch of nettles, very good for butterflies and moths.

Same as the last 5 years for example couldn't have any bright colours such as inflatable pool as it would attract so many bees wasps , this time no such problem

Also new neighbours decided to slab the whole garden seems to be the trend here which previously had good amount of green / flowers

Blimey where are you? Not the south I'll wager grass is basically straw down here everything is various shades of beige seem to spend more time watering plants gasping for water than anything else.

South, plus a lot of watering. We’ve barely seen rain this year, even many of the storms. Was hoping to avoid a repeat of last year, but here we are. Should be a fun water bill again.

Happening everywhere people are either putting slabs down or artificial grass :(
