Yep can't sleep too hot
At least we don’t have the humidity we did last time, makes a huge difference.
We really need a wet wet winter here and not another dry spell like this next year.
BBC is very poor for me, consistently getting the highs and lows wrong, today it think its a high of 26c? Erm no, more like 31c.Ouch quite a upgrade on the BBC forecast tonight - not sure it is quite born out by other sources. 10 days above 27C with several of them hitting 32 - before it was mostly 29 or under with one day hitting 30.
Same here, however 26c is still quite above average and its still sunshine, no rain which is very much needed now.The Met Office's current forecast for me is showing a slight downwards trend in temps to below 30c from Saturday onwards. 29c on Sat, 26c on Monday.
It looks like tomorrow/Friday will be the peak of this heatwave.
....I'll believe it when I see it. Probably get pushed back like last time.
Weather forecast still saying cool nights but it's 7am and 22c. Nights are the same as the last heatwave.

In Marks and Spencers they shut down some of the freezers to keep the others cooler.
22c is cool compared to 30![]()
