Sounds a bit much. My Thermapen hit 38.7 in the garden (south facing, very tiny, no breeze) just now. Put it next to a scaffolding pole in the sunshine and it soon shoots up to 40+

The only time I’ve ever felt hot air like that is Dubai, never thought we’d get that here. It’s like a hairdryer. To be fair it is a fair bit hotter than most med places.

Not been that bad at all inside so far today - sun is insanely strong if outside though. Only needing a small fan to be completely comfortable inside.

34C in the shade but doesn't feel anything close to that.

I think that means my air con has given up reading the outdoor temperature

- its somewhere at 39C or above, it’s all pretty irrelevant after there.
