I've got a Logitech MX1000 laser mouse, but there's a problem with the cursor being rather jerky when I move it across the screen. As far as I can see, there aren't any interference and the problem is worse in my computer downstairs.

Why can this be?

What surface is the mouse on? Is it on a reflective mouse mat? Try the mouse on a piece of white paper as a mouse mat.

If you have a older style one they dont like being plugged into USB and need the ps2 port.

A RMA to logitech would sort it.
