Have been running a nice OC on my 10980X, temperatures were beginning to rise so have had to fall back to my Summer OC.

Anyone else have to lower their frequencies as Spring and Summer come into play?

Nope never, the advantages of having a ginormous external radiator means cooling isn't an issue no matter the whether. It ran perfectly fine even in last years 38c heat waves we had which i honestly was quite surprised about.

I think this year though i will invest in a few portable air conditioners to cool the rooms we're in the most.

havent had to do that, but it'll probably help to crack a window open to get a breeze going!

Nah just turn up my noctua 3000rpm 140mm fans

Also have a custom loop so temps are always under control

I don't usually use my pc if it gets really warm tho, it heats up the room so much

No its bloody freezing! Blowing like crazy and raining again it warms up when the suns out but returns to winter when it goes in. 12c daytime 9c night

My current system hits 31c water temps at 22c ambient. During the summer last year it was rough and was getting 29c in the bedroom (my pc is in that bedroom) giving me 38c water temps and during the heatwave was getting up to 36c in the same bedroom with 42c water temps. At that high of a temperature i stop gaming as it was getting dangerously hot to be in that room.
