Itune and Apple TV

I was reading up on Apple TV today but looking on itune where the hell do i get Films and TV show on it to show on the Apple TV as i tried to find it everywhere as it looks interesting

Change your store to United States, not sure if you can buy things though because I haven't tried

they are not available yet on the UK iTunes store, you will have to wait till the Apple TV comes out here

I like the look of the apple tv thingy, but am put off my the lack of media available on the UK itunes store. If I could be arsed ripping all my DVD's to my Macbook Pro, I guess it might be worth it. From what I understand, it's really just an evolution of the the airtunes hardware, with the ability to handle video. Will probably end up buying one though..............I always give in with Apple products.

I really don't see the point in this Apple TV thing. What can it do that can't be achieved just by plugging the laptop into your TV?
