iTunes 10 annoying noise when changing song

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has this issue.

Running iTunes 10.5.3.3, when I switch songs, I hear a small clip of audio play for about 0.5 seconds before the next song actually starts playing.

I uninstalled iTunes 10 and reinstalled and no luck. Still there.

I skip tracks quite a bit and find this really annoying.

Anyone had same issue? Googled it and someone else had same issue but no one could tell him a solution.

Does setting Gapless album to 'yes' in Options make any difference?

Iv never really noticed this before, ill have a listen for it later and let you know if i hear it too.

Right click on all the tracks in an album, Get info and then the options tab.
