EDIT: Looks like I'm late to the party :(

Just popped up. Didn't think to copy the notes. :)

Edit: Ooh, fancy new dock icon. :)

Edit 2:

iTunes 10 comes with many new features and improvements, including:

• Introducing Ping. Use Ping to follow your favorite artists and friends or connect with the world's most passionate music fans. Discover the music everyone is talking about, listening to, and downloading.

• Rent HD TV episodes for just 99¢ each. Watch them on your Mac or PC, on-the-go with iPhone or iPod touch, or in your living room with the all new Apple TV.

• Play your favorites on the all new iPod touch, iPod nano, iPod shuffle, and Apple TV.

• Play music wirelessly with AirPlay on AirPlay-enabled speakers, home theater receivers, and iPod accessories.

• Explore many look-and-feel improvements throughout iTunes.

• Enjoy performance improvements which make iTunes faster and more responsive.

• Additional voice support with VoiceOver Kit for iPod.

Oh dear, what have they done to the GUI.

1. First off, so very very monochromatic!
2. Why have they removed the Artwork Column? I liked having the same stuff as list view just, grouped by album and a nice big pic of the artwork. Now they seem to have replaced it with a cut down version with a large white background.
3. The icon in the system tray looks screwed up on mine, the white border around it seems to be pixelated likes its low res or something. (W7 x64).
4. Have to say, thought the old icon looked nicer.

*sigh*, may downgrade to 9.x

Looks fine to me :)

Shame they haven't fixed the issue with iTunes duplicating tracks in its library folder.

This is what my taskbar icon looks like :

Totally agree with all your comments mate, I hate how you can't increase the size of the artwork in that column any more, and why the hell is that icon pixelated, damn rush jobs :(

Has anyone had problems with video purchases since iTunes 10?

Found that after updating a few episodes of Dr Who and S3 of IT Crowd wouldn't play "not authorized" it said. De-authorized/re-authorized made no difference nor restores of the files from Time Machine.

In the end had to send an email to Apple who've let me d/l the files again.

The look and feel of iTunes 10, and the crappy quality of the icons suggests they rushed to get this out in time for the event on the 1st.

I don't know why they bothered. Version 10 doesn't feel any snappier and Ping is probably going to be crap.

I'm having a problem where I have bought Heroes Season 4 HD on my Apple TV (pre-iOS version) and whenever I try to sync/transfer to iTunes 10 on my iMac all the HD episodes after episode 8 (9-18) disappear on the Apple TV. They are not found on the iMac after this.

Apple iTunes support have now reposted them twice for me - it's a PITA. I've asked them if I can do anything else before trying another sync - as I expect it to happen again :(

Plus each download is 20+ gigs :(

Hopefully this is not a iTunes 10 issue. Could I downgrade to prove that?
